香りは、言葉よりも先に感情に触れる。
先日の季節の香りを楽しめるワークショップ「アロマ調香Lab」では、
目的も肩書きも異なるクリエイターやアーティストが、
偶然ひとつの空間に集いました。
それぞれが香りに向き合う静かな時間の中で、
誰かの選んだ香りが、
別の誰かの記憶や感覚をそっと揺らす。
香りが媒介となり、
人と人のあいだに、言葉にならない対話が生まれていく——
そんな瞬間が、確かに存在していました。
香りは、形に残らない。
けれど、確かに人の内側に何かを残していく。
そして香りは、デザインと融合しながら、
人と人、文化と文化をつないでいく。
私は、そんなつながりを生み出すことを目標としています。
あの日共有された余韻が、
それぞれの日常のどこかで、
ふと立ち上がることを願っています。
Scent reaches our emotions before words ever do.
At the recent Aroma Blending Lab,
creators and artists from different backgrounds and paths
came together by chance in a single space.
Within the quiet moments of each person facing scent,
one person’s chosen aroma gently stirred
another’s memories and senses.
Through scent as a medium,
unspoken dialogues began to emerge between people—
moments that truly existed.
Scent leaves no physical form behind.
Yet it undeniably leaves something within us.
As it merges with design,
scent becomes a way to connect people with people,
and culture with culture.
Creating such connections is what I aim to do.
I hope that the resonance shared on that day
will quietly surface again
somewhere in each person’s everyday life.
