ブランド名を決めるとき、実はなかなかしっくりくる名前が見つかりませんでした。
悩んだ末に、「いちばん自然で、自分らしい形で良いのではないか」と思い、
自分の苗字と名前のイニシャルを合わせた AY をベースにしました。
そして、香り（scent）だけでなく、
空間や暮らしそのものの デザイン（design） も大切にしていきたいという想いを込めて、
AY. scent & design（エーワイ セント アンド デザイン） という名前を選びました。
少し長い名称なので、お気軽に AYSD（エーワイエスディー） とお呼びください。
香りとデザインを通して、信州の自然や日常の美しさを感じていただけるような活動を、
これから少しずつ形にしていきたいと思っています。
When deciding on the brand name, I initially struggled to find one that truly resonated.
After much reflection, I realized that the most natural and authentic choice
was to begin with my own initials — A and Y — drawn from my name.
In addition to scent, I wished to honor the design of spaces and everyday life itself,
to weave these elements together into a single expression.
From that intention, the name AY. scent & design was born.
As the name is slightly long, please feel free to refer to it simply as AYSD.
Through scent and design, I aspire to share the quiet beauty of everyday life
and the natural richness of Shinshu — steadily and with intention, step by step.
