先日のアロマ調香Labでは、お越しくださったお客様と季節の香りを楽しみながら、
香りについてさまざまなお話をさせていただきました。
その中で、印象に残った言葉があります。
「都会や地方によって、香りの感じ方が違う気がする。」
というお話です。
暮らす環境によって、心地よいと感じる香りは少しずつ違うのかもしれないと、改めて感じました。
そして、
「どの香りもまとまりがあって心地良いですね」
というご感想をいただき、香りを確かめながら何度も深呼吸をされている姿が印象的でした。
私は、お客様の香りにまつわるお話を聞くのがとても好きです。
香りの好みや思い出、その方らしい感性に触れられる時間は、私にとっても大切なひとときです。
そして、香りに触れた瞬間にふと表情が和らいだり、笑顔になったりする姿を見るたび、
この活動を続けてきて良かったと感じます。
香りの体験を通して、心に少しでも余白や喜びを感じていただけたら嬉しく思います。
今回は「夏至」の香りが人気でした。

アロマ調香Lab ：香り監修 齋藤智子さん
At our recent Aroma Blending Lab, we spent time enjoying seasonal fragrances and sharing conversations about scent.
One participant commented,
“I feel that people experience fragrances differently depending on whether they live in a city or in the countryside.”
It reminded me that the scents we find comforting may be influenced by the environments in which we live and spend our daily lives.
Another participant shared,
“All of the fragrances feel well-balanced and comforting.”
As they explored each blend, they paused several times to take deep breaths, which left a lasting impression on me.
I truly enjoy listening to the stories people share about fragrance.
Learning about someone’s scent preferences, memories, and unique sensibilities is always a meaningful experience for me as well.
Whenever I see a person’s expression soften or a gentle smile appear as they encounter a fragrance, I am reminded why I chose to continue this work.
My hope is that through the experience of fragrance, people can find a little more space, calm, and joy in their daily lives.
This month, “Summer Solstice” was the most popular fragrance.

After a year of regularly scheduled Aroma Blending Lab workshops, we have now completed a full cycle of seasonal programs.
Starting next month, the workshops will transition to private sessions by appointment.
