夏に予定している松本市内の展示会に向けて、
空間の香りのプロデュースを進めています。
今回はその準備の一環として、
現在クライアント様の作品が一部展示されている明神館へ伺いました。
館内を歩きながら感じたのは、
光の入り方や空間の静けさ、
木や石、布など素材の質感、
そして空間に流れる“間”のような感覚。
空間は、光や湿度、人の動きによって、
少しずつ表情を変えていくように感じました。
今回は、展示会DM制作のための素材撮影を行いながら、
実際にその場の空気に触れ、
作品と空間の関係性を確認する時間となりました。
作品だけではなく、
その場に流れる空気や余韻まで含めて、
ひとつの体験として整えていけたらと思っています。
明神館で感じた空間の静けさや空気感は、
多くのインスピレーションを与えてくれました。

As part of the preparations for an upcoming exhibition in Matsumoto this summer,
I’ve been working on the scent design for the space.
As part of this process,
I visited Myojinkan, where some of my client’s works are currently on display.
While walking through the space,
I was drawn to the way the light moved through the rooms,
the stillness of the atmosphere,
the textures of wood, stone, and fabric,
and the subtle sense of “ma” — the quiet intervals within the space.
A space gradually changes its expression through light, humidity, and the movement of people.
This visit also became an opportunity to quietly observe the relationship between the artworks and the surrounding atmosphere,
while photographing materials for the exhibition DM.
Not only the artworks themselves,
but also the air, the silence, and the lingering impressions of the space —
I hope to shape them together into a single sensory experience.
The stillness and atmosphere I experienced at Myojinkan
gave me a great deal of inspiration for the exhibition.
