7月11日から20日まで開催した「Shibumi」作品展が、無事に終了しました。
10日間を通して、多くの方にご来場いただき、心より感謝申し上げます。
サンドアートと香りが出会う空間の中で、作品をゆっくり眺め、砂に触れ、香りを体験し、自然と会話が生まれる。そんな時間を多くの方と共有できたことを、とても嬉しく思っています。
今回、私はアーティストの想いや作品から着想を得た空間の香りのデザインを担当させていただきました。
展示空間では、作品をゆっくりご鑑賞いただき、砂の感触や香りを通して作品の世界観を感じていただけるよう、アーティストと共に「Sand & Scent Journey」という体験をつくり上げました。
砂や素材、香りを巡りながら、それぞれの作品との向き合い方を楽しんでいただき、一人ひとりが自由に作品の世界を感じていただけていたなら幸いです。
この10日間は、多くの出会いと学びに恵まれた時間でもありました。作品や香りについて交わした何気ない会話や、お客様からいただいた感想や反応は、これからの空間づくりへとつながる大切な経験となりました。
このような機会をくださったサンドアーティストの石田恵美さん、そして香りの演出を支えてくださった皆さま、ご一緒した出展者の皆さまに、心より感謝申し上げます。
そして、暑い中お越しくださった皆さま、本当にありがとうございました。
これからも、香りを通して空間や時間の記憶に寄り添うデザインを、一つひとつ丁寧に形にしていきたいと思います。
The Shibumi exhibition, held from July 11 to 20, has come to a close.
Throughout the 10-day exhibition, we were grateful to welcome many visitors. Thank you sincerely to everyone who came.
It was truly rewarding to share a space where sand art and scent came together—where people could take their time with the artwork, touch the sand, experience the fragrance, and enjoy conversations inspired by the exhibition.
For this exhibition, I was responsible for designing the scent experience, inspired by the artist’s vision and the artworks themselves.
Together with the artist, I created Sand & Scent Journey—an experience designed to deepen the connection with each piece through the texture of sand and the presence of scent.
I hope visitors enjoyed exploring the sand, the natural materials, and the fragrances, while discovering their own personal connection with each artwork.
These ten days were filled with meaningful encounters and valuable lessons. Every conversation about the artwork and the fragrances, along with the thoughts and impressions shared by our visitors, has become an important source of inspiration for my future work in spatial scent design.
My heartfelt thanks go to sand artist Megumi Ishida, to everyone who supported the scent experience, and to all of the exhibitors who shared this exhibition with us.
And finally, thank you once again to everyone who visited, especially in the summer heat.
I look forward to continuing to create thoughtful scent designs that become part of the memories of places, moments, and the people who experience them.
